Free pattern alert...Adorable Mrs. Claus toddler dress...

Last week I saw a post on my Facebook newsfeed reminding everyone that there are only 100 days until Christmas. Wow! It doesn't seem possible that it is time to start thinking about crocheting for Christmas!

For any crocheter with a toddler on your list, today my newsfeed had a link to an adorable Mrs. Claus dress by Dorianna Rivelli at The Lavender Chair.

The pattern is free on Dorianna's blog or you can purchase a pdf copy using the link provided on her webpage.

FREE Fall Wreath to Crochet!

This FREE Red Heart pattern came crossed my Facebook feed and I just had to share:

Click on picture to download pattern!

This is a perfect "take with you" project as the pieces are small. You probably have enough worsted weight yarn in your stash to complete this wreath in time for your Fall decorating!

FREE Crochet Peppermint Pinwheel Afghan + Tutorial ...

If you haven't yet seen the Peppermint Pinwheel Afghan available from The Crochet Crowd, it's not too late to get your copy.

This is a Crochet-a-long project, but you can start it at any time.

Here is my finished afghan:

I changed the last few rows by double-crocheting using one row of the Main Color and 1 row of Color B. I then finished the edge by using the Candy Cane edging which is also a free pattern and tutorial by Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me.

You will find the FREE afghan pattern and tutorial HERE!

George, the Giant Bunny!

I just received an email from Premier Yarns with some wonderful FREE patterns. I just had to share George, the Giant Bunny with my crochet friends.

Isn't he absolutely wonderful?

"FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approx 45” from toe to top of head.

MATERIALS Premier® Yarns Toy Box™ (100% Acrylic; 100g/109 yds) • #1056-08 Wiffle Ball – 10 balls

Hook: Size US L-11 (8mm) crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge.

Notions: Stitch marker, 2 safety eyes or buttons, polyester fiberfill, tapestry needle

GAUGE: Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tightly to ensure that the stuffing will not show through the stitches.

PATTERN NOTES

• The bunny is worked in continuous rounds; do not join at the ends of rounds. Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round and move the marker as each round is completed."

• Stuff the body, head, arms, and legs as work progresses. Do not stuff the ears. •

When fastening off, always leave a tail 12-18” long for sewing.

I know a certain young one in my life that would love George!
